I have brown hair that is tinted reddish, but i want to go all brown, will pink highlights go wtih that?

i want to dye my hair back to my real color, but i want to get highlights, and not normal light brown, blonde, i want something interesting like pink or something, but i dont know if that will look good or not, my hair is more like a dull brown color, but it would be dyed a pretty brown, so what color highlights should i get? i want it to look good / cool!!!!!I have brown hair that is tinted reddish, but i want to go all brown, will pink highlights go wtih that?
