I have black hair, would pink highlights show up, or my hole bottam layer pink?

Perperbly a professional, or someone who would for sure know should answer, cause im going to spend money to get it professionally done, and i want BRIGHT pink.I have black hair, would pink highlights show up, or my hole bottam layer pink?

This will look a little...out there. But as long as you know, go for it. Streaks will probs look better than the full bottom, but make sure they're not chunky and cheap. Get them done in a good salon and make sure they bleach your hair before colouring.

For best results you should bleach first as colours are generally more virbant and last longer when used on yellow or white hair. Over unbleached hair you may still get a sheen of colour but its unlikely to give a proper 鈥榥eon鈥?or bright result. I personally like when the bottom layer is bleached and dyed as you can wear hair down for a sublte look with the colour showing through, or wear hair up to show off the neon colour better.

yeah, but you might have to strip the black hair underneath and bleach it before you use the pink dye.
yes it will work if you get it profeshionly done just make sure you tell then you want it really bright and tell them to bleack the hair they will put the pink on first! (=

It would be much more likely to stay if you bleach it first. The possibility is still there that your hair just won't hold the color. I say if you're going to do it, bleach it first, and for that I would suggest going to a professional.
