Should I get pink highlights?

I have dark brown, think, very wavy hair. I usually straighten it. I have bangs and layers. Do you think I should get hot pink highlights? or maybe a different color?

If you have dark brown hair, streaks will have to be bleached into your hair before you can apply a bright colour as they won't take otherwise, also as pink fades it turns orange, bright colours generally stain as they fade, i had pink hair before all over and had to dye my hair to get rid of the orange stain, so be aware of that.





If you are wondering will it suit, yes it will. Try a magenta colour rather than acid or hot pink though.





If you are planning a diy job stargazer has a large range of dyes that are semi-permanent, but will stain.





If you want to have coloured hair without dying it, you can buy different colour extensions, it's also a good way to see whether or not you like the colour.


You can buy them cheap buts it's literally only barbie hair, you can buy real dyed extensions which are more pricey but look and last better.Should I get pink highlights?

I think it would be very funky, and cool. If your not sure you'd like to get them, a cheap and easier alternative would be extensions. They don't necessarily have to be longer than your real hair, and they are not harmful to your hair, and they look real too! Good luck with what ever you do.
My best friend has the same exact type of hair from your description and she used to have colored highlights in her bangs. It looked very good. She also had hot pink, but a lot of different colors as well. Any color should look good!

don't get pink highlights they will wash out or fade, just buy some little clip on extensions, they come in like every color, i have some pink ones myself (:
ya that would look really cool but make sure you get a good hairstylist because you dont want wierd streaks! either pink or turqouise.
I think that might be cute if you straighten it. I think you should get like one thick highlight or one thin highlight not a ton!

I would need to c ur hair and face but pink or blue i think would look good from my look or dark brown haired ppl.
I think purple would be better, but not too dark.
