It is made to go on your hair while it is still slightly damp after a shower, and stops the frizz.
Now, to get the highlights, you might want to see how your hair responds to the frizz control options listed above to see how your hair responds. If your hair doesn't respond in a healthy way, highlights may not be for you. But if the results are good, then go to a store such a Sally Beauty Supply and pick up some cream developer, and packets of powdered bleach. If you are confused, you can ask someone who works there. They can be sure to help you first hand looking at your hair. Before you start going at your whole head, try testing some of your hair first. If the results make you happy, then start bleaching strands in your hair for the highlights. Make sure you wait 1-2 days before adding the pink to your hair because it might not hold the color right away. i don't think you should. i've noticed curly frizzy hair + highlights does not look too good. some other alternatives:
grow it really long.
long, curly hair is so gorgeous.
or dye it dark or very light.
get someone to put some pink weave in your hair. then curl it to match your curly hair. then when you get tired of it you can take it out and go about your business.
buy pink clip in hair extensions....they work great to add highlights without damaging your own hair. make sure to buy the human hair ones,so you can straighten or curl them. you can buy them online.
