What color highlights caramel or pink?

I have medium/dark brown hair and I wanted to get highlights that look natural so which color would go and what if I changed it to light brown then what color highlight should I get?What color highlights caramel or pink?
I love caramel highlights. I have had them befor and it was one of my favorite color of highlights.

Pink is not considered a natural color. If you want a natural look then get caramel.
