I have very dark hair but wanting to get light gold and light pink highlights?

If you look at my 360 page. You'll know I have very dark hair, almost black dark but its brunette really. I really want to get a couple of light gold and light pink highlights, but i cant afford the salon so i have to do it at home. whats the best hair dye? and will it show up on my dark hair?

As far as I know, you cannot buy decent permnament coloured hair dye without a hairdressing liscence. If you do find some then you'll have to severely bleach the sections you want done to be able to put the colour over.


People who have more intresting coloured hair, are usually wearing extentions. They're a lot easier too, because it doesn't harm your hair, won't fade colour, easy to put in, etc. You can buy them here in Canada for 10$ a strip, if you live in the US I immagine it will be even less.I have very dark hair but wanting to get light gold and light pink highlights?

but I wouldn't do the light gold highlights


that might be a little too much


contrast between your hair and the color





and I'd use a hot pink to make it show up better


since you have really dark hair :D
First my opinion leave your hair natural, I love it. But if you're determined any hair dye from Hot Topic that prebleaches is awesome. Also pretty affordable.
you have to bleach it first the get any color of pink u want go to sally beauty supply and they'll help u
