I have really dark brown hair, and I have dyed it black before, How would I go about putting pink highlights?

in my hair? I want really hot hot pink, that stands out .. my hair looks black so I know normal pink dye wouldn't work. Do I have to but bleach in my hair before I do it?





I actually just want the bottom layer of my hair hot pink ..

My friend wanted this too, bleach it first underneath, then wait a few days and then die it hot pink. This should work for you. Since you originally have dark hair bleach it really bright and then the pink will take more...good luck :)

i have dark brown hair too, all the way down to my bum. i have had red highlights in my hair, and purple, gold etc,...lots! lol (not all at the same time obv haha) ... uhm buy a bottle of bleach, and take the strands out you want to do and then dye em...but i would recccomend going to a hairdresser and getting a few coloured extenstions put in...the colour doesnt fade and it doesnt damage ur hair at all...it takes about 5 minutes to put them in and they cost about 7 dollars each...if you had 3 it would look cool!





i think yes, it would do a fair amount.this last time the hair dresser bleached my hair so the red would show better and those parts of my hair has not been the same since so i wouldnt, but its up to you! not ALOT of damage lol..but try the extensions...they looks really cool!
Bleach the parts you want to dye. Then put the color in. Bleaching does damage your hair, but not too much if you do it right.

you have to bleach it.... its really damaging if you do it alot
You'll look like a 13 year old. Don't do it.
Your hair will be so DRY. But yea...you would have to bleach it first
