Would pink and blue highlights look okay in my hair?

I'm getting my hair cut and dyed light brown tomorrow, and i was also considering getting hot pink and blue highlights, but most of the time when you see people with those color highlights it's in blonde hair and i'm afraid it won't look right in light brown. So, what do you think?Would pink and blue highlights look okay in my hair?
